The Challenge
Live location tracking with real-time order updates. Challenge was socket architecture — keeping location pings performant and accurate under real production load without lag between provider-side updates and the customer-facing map.
Our Approach
We redesigned the socket architecture to batch and throttle location pings intelligently, keeping the update pipeline stable as concurrent active deliveries scaled up.
The Impact
Customers see the delivery map update smoothly and in near real time, even under production load — the lag that used to show up during peak hours is gone.
