The Challenge
Editorial-style store with scroll-triggered animations and full-bleed photography. Challenge was balancing heavy visual/animation load with checkout speed — had to optimize for Apple Pay and email integrations without tanking performance scores.
Our Approach
We lazy-loaded animation and image assets outside the checkout path, and profiled every third-party script (Apple Pay, Klaviyo) individually to keep the render-blocking footprint near zero.
The Impact
The store kept its premium, editorial feel without the performance penalty that usually comes with heavy animation — checkout stayed fast even as the front-of-site visual load grew.
